Gosh I just love how beautiful this book is! The wait was well worth it! The pages are soft and beautiful. The edges of the pages are so elegant especially when the book is closed and you see the images the pages create. The images are gorgeous. The story is timeless and addictive. WARNING!! Do not start when you have a science final in 7 days. You will be up for days reading and forget to study.
Loved this series. Read all the books in a week.

Absolutely loved the characters. (Again!) I was in my feels, again, with how their stories and character background went. I could not put either book down, and didn't want too. Was very excited to receive this book. It came a lot earlier than expected. Only downside is I had to pay more to have it shipped to Canada due to tarrifs. Other than that I cannot wait to get started reading my first Nana Malone book series.

I loved everything about this duet-in-one! The covers were beautiful, the edges, and the pictures within! 🥵❤️🔥The story literally had me in my feels the entire time! Penelope is one of my fav fmcs! I loved the way she was written, her strength and intelligence. I fell just as hard for Sebastian, though, he'd have a hard time treating me the way he did her in book 2, I think lol. I love when I get snatched up in a book like that. Definitely ready to read more by this author!

I’ve been waiting on this type of book. I love reading Kindle but it’s something to have an actual book in your hands.
Although it took a while to get my book (which is understandable sense I am overseas) it did not disappoint. The print was detailed and the graphics was giving what it needs to give. The graphic art is spread nicely throughout the book so it gives you a delicious surprise when you come across one. The store keeps you engaged. Worth the purchase.

I purchased the audio version of this book going in blind. And I’m so glad that I did. Saffron is no wallflower needing to be saved. That’s because she can save you and herself. I finished the audiobook in two days flat. Yet I find myself listening again from the beginning.
I’ve been a Nana Malone fan for many, many years. The Rogues series, which begins with The Heir, is amazing. I devoured this book and all others in the series. Matter of fact, I purchased The King’s audiobook without reading the synopsis.
